Overview ASC 4x4 specializing in vintage vehicle restorations has an open position for a skilled Automotive electrician / Swap Specialist to join our team working on vintage, classic and high performance custom vehicles. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience wiring, diagnosing and troubleshooting modern drive-train swaps including Ford Coyote 5.0 and GM LS and LT platforms in classic cars and custom builds. This position requires a deep understanding of standalone OEM EFI systems, custom wiring, CAN bus integration, and vintage vehicle electrical systems. We are looking for someone passionate about craftsmanship, performance, and building reliable, clean, professional- quality electrical systems into vintage vehicle platforms. Responsibilities Wire, Troubleshoot and Diagnose and repair complex automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, lighting, sensors, and electronic modules in vintage vehicles Install, Integrate, and diagnose Ford Coyote 5.0 and

engine swaps. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret electrical diagrams and troubleshoot issues efficiently Build and modify custom wiring harnesses. Conduct diagnostics using advanced automotive testing tools and software to identify faults accurately. Diagnose no-start, drivability, charging, grounding, sensor, and communication issues. Integrate Standalone ECU systems, aftermarket gauges, relays, fuse panels, and performance electronics. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, pin-outs, and schematics. Perform clean wire routing, looming, labeling, and termination to professional standards. Troubleshoot CAN bus communication and EFI-related electrical systems as needed. Install aftermarket accessories including digital dashboards, lighting systems, fuel injection systems, fans, and audio equipment. Collaborate with fabricators, tuners and mechanics during vehicle build as needed. Ensure all work is completed safely, cleanly, and reliably. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician or EFI/Swap Technitian Strong background in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain platforms like Ford Coyote and
GM LS/LT
swaps. Knowledge of standalone ECU systems, such as Holley. Terminator X, Edelbrock Proflow, or similar. Experience with classic car electrical systems and restorations. Ability to fabricate, solder, crimp, and repair custom wiring harnesses. Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting skills. Ability to work independently and and manage projects from start to finish. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
