In this role, you will be responsible for new construction electrical installation. Responsibilities Independently work on the installation of wiring for a new house. I need someone that is knowledgable in all aspects of electrical installation from rough in to finish trim. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems including wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately perform installations and repairs. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues quickly and efficiently. Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements for safety and quality. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial or commercial systems when required for larger projects or specialized installations. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and industrial electrical components. Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to facilitate precise installation or repair work in residential settings. Collaborate with other tradespeople during construction or renovation projects to ensure seamless project completion. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on residential projects; industrial or commercial electrician experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and blueprint reading skills. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and clamp meters. Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately for installation or troubleshooting purposes. Experience working with industrial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and renovation projects. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, construction site safety protocols, and handyman skills related to electrical work.
