Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including industrial and commercial environments. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and problem-solving abilities to deliver top-quality electrical solutions. Responsibilities Must know how to bend conduit Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical wiring and systems. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely following NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines. Diagnose electrical issues within complex industrial electrical systems using advanced troubleshooting techniques, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation devices. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety procedures, and NFPA 70 standards to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems during construction or renovation projects to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur. Collaborate with construction teams on site to install new electrical infrastructure or upgrade existing systems while adhering to blueprints and specifications. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and low voltage wiring. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting complex electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring projects. Familiarity with reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams essential for accurate installation and repairs. Demonstrated knowledge of local electrical codes such as NEC and NFPA 70 to ensure compliance during all phases of work. Construction site experience involving renovation or new build projects is highly desirable. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, testing instruments like voltmeters and ohmmeters safely and effectively. Prior experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, or automation controls is a plus.
