Overview RP Electric Inc. is seeking a motivated and reliable Electrician with 2-3 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assisting with commercial electrical installations and be comfortable working alongside Journeyman Electricians and Foremen. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and eager to continue developing their electrical skills while contributing to a professional team. Responsibilities Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Install and support installation of conduit, raceways, cable trays, boxes, and electrical equipment. Pull, route, and terminate electrical wire and cable under supervision. Assist with installation of lighting, switches, receptacles, panels, transformers, and other electrical components. Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit using appropriate tools and equipment. Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under the direction of a Journeyman Electrician or Foreman. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA safety requirements. Properly use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. Load, unload, organize, and maintain materials and equipment at job sites. Work collaboratively with electricians, foremen, general contractors, and other trades. Perform other electrical duties as assigned based on project needs. Requirements 2-3 years of experience working as an Electrical Apprentice. Basic knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical installations. Ability to read basic electrical blueprints and drawings. Experience bending and installing conduit preferred. Experience pulling wire and assisting with electrical installations. Familiarity with electrical hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of basic electrical safety practices. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while following direction from Journeymen and Foremen. Reliable transportation and ability to report to various job sites. Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required for the position. Valid driver's license preferred.
