Job Description

Job Summary:
Installs and repairs wiring and electrical fixtures. Performs New Construction, Residential Installation, Service Work, Remodels and Commercial Services. Ability to work closely with the Electrical Foreman Speak professionally with customers, contractors and co-workers.
Salary:
Lead Residential Electrician:
Pay is dependent upon level of experience. Hourly range is $23 - $30
Job Responsibilities:
Plans new or modified installations to provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly and hazardous wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring. Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit. Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps. Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment. Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels. Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads. Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components. Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Repairs faulty equipment or systems. Direct and train electrical helper to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment. Pickup electrical materials needed for subject jobs on behalf of the company. •The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. •

Outlet repair or replacement GFCI receptacle installation Circuit breaker repair or replacement New wire and chandelier installation Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers Panel change-outs Street and parking lot lighting repair and installation Remodel and New Construction work EV chargers Landscape lighting installs Generator connection installs Lighting installs Adhere to all quality and safety codes Troubleshooting Ability to work alone or with a team Safety conscience Ability to bend pipe Ability to read and understand blueprints Familiar with National and Local electrical codes Great communication skills Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Physically able to perform demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving or lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds Work up to a 10-12 hour shift doing hard physical labor with hot temperatures Maintain tools and equipment Keep parts and supplies in order Maintain Clean work area and company vehicle •The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. •
Job Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of electrical experience (Journeyman Level Experience and education is preferred.) Ability to read blueprints Understanding of state and local building regulations based on national and local electrical code. Valid Driver's License (Needs to have a clean driving record to drive company vehicle). Must pass criminal background check. Basic tools required. Drug free workplace Must be able to read, write, speak and interpret English Able to complete tasks with little to no direct supervision Demonstrate and uphold all of R2 Electric LLC's core values, which include quality, integrity, accountability, teamwork.

Full-Time:
40 Hours (
Approximately:
8 hour shifts)
Standard Schedule:
Monday -
Friday:
7:30 am - 4:00 pm w/ 30 minute lunch break. •May have occasional need for overtime. Overtime could require regular hours to be extended beyond 4:00 pm during the week or occasional weekends. Advanced notice would be provided. •Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
