S_180542 Spherion Gainesville, FL is seeking Battery Processing Technicians for a manufacturing client in Newberry, FL. This is an essential role for maintaining/optimizing production equipment! The ideal candidate will test, repair, and maintain electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for this thriving operation.

Location:

Newberry, FL Schedule:

1st shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm; 2nd shift 3:00 pm - 12:30 am

Pay Rate:

$15.00/hr

Responsibilities:

Repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment (PLCs, power supplies, drives, gauges, test equipment). Perform daily troubleshooting of production floor equipment (calibration bays, rework areas, etc.). Plan and perform work using strong knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles. Install, start up, and shut down equipment per company safety/OSHA procedures. Advise operators and leads on safe operation of electrical/mechanical equipment. Inform management of potential electrical/mechanical problems/dangers. Maintain required performance and maintenance records. Perform directed preventive maintenance and facility maintenance. Assist and train leads, supervisors, and operators. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:
