As a Traveling Electrician , you will be installing multi-million dollar fire alarm systems in hospitals and government facilities. This position is intended for top-tier electricians and fire alarm installers seeking fast paced career growth and career advancement. Responsibilities Install conduit, routing, cabling, devices, notification appliances, initiating devices, and associated equipment. Read and interpret electrical drawings, fire alarm plans, specifications, and wiring diagrams. Support fire alarm and life safety professionals across healthcare, federal, and data center projects. Coordinate project activities with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and other trades. Understand and ensure code compliance and safety requirements. Follow NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and relevant safety requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of completed work. Qualifications Commercial electrical, fire alarm, or low-voltage experience. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, electrical plans, and system documentation. Knowledge of commercial electrical and low-voltage systems and associated field practices. Experience working with conduit, cabling, terminations, devices, and related system components. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a project team Valid driver's license. Dependable, professional, safety-conscious, and capable of meeting project schedules NICET certification is a plus. Healthcare, VA/federal, data center, or other occupied-facility experience is a plus.
