POSITION SUMMARY

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all mill equipment. This position will troubleshoot electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

$50/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs. Follow safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment. Install, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment with a primary focus on safe and continuous operation of all equipment and facilities. Utilize CMMS to document all work orders and equipment maintenance throughout the facility. Assist in maintaining the inventory of critical electrical spare parts. Support root cause analysis (RCA) problem-solving efforts to eliminate repeat equipment failures. Assist in evaluating and measuring vendor performance. Collaborate with millwrights in making mechanical repairs as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Journeyman Electrician License. 1+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting and commissioning industrial electrical devices, including the following: Electric Motors/Motor Controls VFDs/Soft Starters HMIs Remote I/O Ethernet/IP Devices and Industrial Networks Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), having the ability to understand, read and modify ladder logic routines. 1+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting and commissioning control devices, including the following: Photo eyes Proximity Sensors Limit Switches Relays Solenoid Valves Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic power, including basic components and controls. Basic mechanical knowledge/skills Computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

The ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Examples include time management, multitasking, and production targets. Ability to pass a hair follicle test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check.

Arc Flash Familiarity with the Allen Bradley family of PLC controllers and Rockwell Automation's Logix Designer programming software.
