Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Responsible for electrical maintenance in the Melt Shop working a 4 on 4 off 12-hour rotating swing shift. Responsibilities Leader in locking out equipment and assuring that all maintenance work is done safely. Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and installation of new electrical equipment. Assist millwrights and operators with daily maintenance work. Qualifications Required At least 3 years working as an electrician or electronics technician in an industrial environment Knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC motors, motor control and motor drives Experience with Allen Bradley PLC's, and Rockwell Software Experience with low, medium, and high voltage equipement Understanding of thermodynamics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Preferred Robotic experience (ABB preferred) Formal industrial electrical, and automation training Skilled at problem solving and troubleshooting electrical equipment Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
