Job Summary Responsible for installing, inspecting, and testing electrical systems and components. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical controls, alarm systems, generators, motors, and lighting. Installs conduit and wiring for power distribution, communication, and monitoring systems. Ensures compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Coordinates with other departments to support facility operations. Essential Functions- Installs electrical circuitry, wiring, conduit, and apparatus as required.
- Connects and wires machines, equipment, and controllers to power supplies.
- Plans and updates electrical work on "as built" drawings.
- Performs preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.
- Diagnoses and repairs or replaces malfunctioning electrical and electronic components.
- Replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as needed.
- Tests malfunctioning machinery and collaborates with maintenance staff for diagnosis.
- Assists with maintenance activities and responsibilities as needed.
- Acts as a security officer during regular working hours.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
