An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Hiring Agency General Government Cabinet | Department of Military Affairs Location 1101 Grade Lane, Standiford Field Louisville, KY 40213 USA Description The Facilities Division is hiring an Electrician Licensed position that performs electrical work of all types for a state agency, institution, or facility. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Installs, replaces, repairs fixtures, outlets, plugs, motors, switches, receptacles and electrical appliances. Assists in the installation of transformers and maintenance of primary and secondary circuits. Cuts, bends, threads, installs conduit and pulls wire through conduit for electrical circuits. Makes minor repairs to motors and assists in major repairs of generators and electrical equipment. Purchases electrical supplies and materials as needed with credit cards. Minimum Requirements

(AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be licensed as a Master Electrician or as an Electrician by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction. Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
