  • 106,000 at journeyman level. About the role A 4-year paid apprenticeship that takes you from zero experience to a licensed journeyman electrician. Full salary from day one, full benefits from month one, a government-recognized credential at the end — no tuition, no student debt. Compensation Year 1: $50,000
  • 68,000 (base + overtime, varies by market) Year 2-3: $58,000

  • 160,000+ Overtime is consistent — electricians regularly earn 10-20% above base The program 4 years of paid on-the-job training alongside a licensed journeyman.
Classroom instruction is scheduled around your work week — no unpaid evenings cutting into your income. At year 4 you sit for your journeyman exam. Pass it and you are a licensed electrician, eligible to work independently, pull permits, and supervise others. What you'll work on Residential and commercial installation Panel upgrades, service calls, new construction EV charging station installation Solar integration and energy system work Reading and executing blueprints and electrical plans Professional development A credential stack that builds your value at every stage: OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 (year 1) NCCER Core and trade-specific modules (years 1-3) EPA Section 608 — opens HVAC crossover work (year 2) Solar PV installation certification (year 3) EV charging infrastructure certification (year 3) Journeyman license exam prep and sitting fees covered (year 4) Every credential is yours.
