We are currently accepting applications for employment, for an experienced Electrical Service electrician in our Aberdeen, Maryland location. All candidates must have 3+ years of experience, be dependable and customer service oriented. Use your varied skills to install, upgrade and update, new and existing electrical services (project work and customer's homes). Applicants must be able to perform the following job duties: Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.

Projects would include:

USB outlets, lighting upgrades, service upgrades, smoke detector upgrade, ceiling fans, whole home surge protection, whole home safety check, basement refinishing wiring, addition and/or project wiring, pools wiring, hot tub wiring, electric car charger installation, landscape lighting, and other projects as assigned. Job Duties:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards Communicate any issues to clients, and discuss payment options and scheduling Other duties as requested
