Job Description

Licensed Electrician Peak Electric, LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Licensed Electrician to join our growing team. We are a veteran owned electrical company based in Windham, Maine, serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Lakes Region, Greater Portland, and Southern Maine. Our work includes residential service, custom homes, remodels, electrical service upgrades, panel replacements, standby generators, EV chargers, heat pump wiring, lighting installations, troubleshooting, and light commercial projects. We are looking for an electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally, and can be trusted to represent Peak Electric in our customers' homes and businesses. Responsibilities Perform residential and light commercial electrical installations Complete electrical service upgrades, panel replacements, remodels, and new construction wiring Install lighting, receptacles, switches, dedicated circuits, generators, EV chargers, and other electrical equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems safely and efficiently Read electrical plans, specifications, and job scopes Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and applicable state and local requirements Coordinate with customers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades Accurately document completed work and communicate job progress Maintain an organized work area, company vehicle, tools, and materials Assist with material planning and identify additional materials needed to complete assigned work Provide guidance to electrical apprentices and helpers when assigned Qualifications Current State of Maine Journeyman or Master Electrician license Valid driver's license and a clean, dependable driving record Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code Experience with residential electrical service work, remodels, and new construction Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems independently Ability to work safely with limited supervision Professional communication and customer service skills Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to lift materials, use ladders, work in attics and crawl spaces, and perform the physical duties associated with electrical work Must provide personal hand tools appropriate for the position The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and takes pride in completing clean, code compliant electrical work. This person should be comfortable working independently when needed while also contributing to a team environment. We are looking for someone who respects customers' homes, communicates clearly, helps maintain an efficient jobsite, and wants to grow with a local electrical company.
