Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across residential and commercial settings while ensuring compliance with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects such as renovations, new construction, and system upgrades. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits. Read and interpret electrical blueprints and execute wiring and system layouts. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults or inefficiencies within complex electrical systems. Conduct routine maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 standards and local electrical codes. Work safely following all electrical safety procedures while managing high-voltage electrical wiring and other potentially hazardous tasks. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical installations or repairs efficiently on construction sites or renovation projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, or contractors to ensure timely completion of electrical work aligned with project specifications and schematics. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Enrolled in electrical apprenticeship program or have journeyman's electrician license Basic understanding of hand tools and power drills Valid drivers license Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
