Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues within complex systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control panels Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures, including proper grounding, circuit protection, and lockout/tagout protocols Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to install electrical infrastructure aligned with project specifications Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, troubleshooting logs, and schematic updates Experience Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial and commercial electrical systems Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring and low-voltage control systems in construction or renovation environments Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance standards and local electrical codes Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters Experience working on construction sites or industrial facilities with a strong understanding of safety procedures Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation is highly desirable Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, power drills, conduit benders, frame carpentry tools, and handyman equipment effectively Join us as a Journeyman Electrician if you're passionate about delivering safe, reliable electrical solutions across diverse environments.
