We are seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. OBJECTIVES
Install, Repair, and Maintain Electrical Systems :
Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for wiring, panels, circuit breakers, and related components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Ensure Compliance with
Electrical Codes and Safety Standards :
Maintain a high level of safety by following all OSHA guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety protocols.
Diagnose and Troubleshoot Electrical Issues :
Identify and resolve electrical problems efficiently, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Supervise and Mentor Apprentices :
Guide and mentor apprentices, offering hands-on training and support to develop their skills and ensure proper work practices. Coordinate with
Project Managers and Contractors :
Collaborate with project managers, other electricians, and contractors to plan and execute electrical tasks while meeting deadlines.
Design and Plan Electrical Systems :
Plan electrical layouts for new constructions or renovations, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and adherence to code requirements.
Perform Electrical Inspections :
Inspect electrical systems and components to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with quality standards.
Maintain Accurate Work Records :
Document work completed, materials used, and project timelines to ensure accurate reporting and accountability.
Inspect and Maintain Tools and Equipment :
Regularly inspect, maintain, and calibrate electrical tools and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safely. Assist with
Project Cost Estimation :
Help estimate costs for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and timeframes, to ensure projects stay within budget.
Client Communication and Consultation :
Communicate effectively with clients to assess their electrical needs, provide recommendations, and update them on work progress and completion.
Documentation:
Accurately record work orders, materials used, and time spent on each job for proper billing and record-keeping.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program is highly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed electrician, with a proven track record in residential or commercial work (or both). Valid Journeyman Electrician license/certification as required by state or local jurisdiction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, and squat for extended periods to access electrical systems in tight spaces. Must be able to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, or confined spaces) and withstand different weather conditions.
