Master Electrician CIRCOR International, Inc 33.62-42.02 United States, North Carolina, Monroe 1710 Airport Road (Show on map) Aug 06, 2026 Description Position Summary Basic Function Master Electrician's duties include coordinating with project managers, interpreting blueprints, training electricians, implementing plans, and troubleshooting electrical issues. Description/Responsibilities Plan and execute electrical projects and ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes. Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment. Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects. Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans. Supervise, mentor, and train electricians and ensure quality of work. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Conduct inspections and tests of electrical systems. Respond to electrical emergencies and perform necessary repairs. Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics Planning and executing electrical installations commercial and industrial settings Identifying and repairing electrical problems using a variety of testing devices Maintaining current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations Implementing and maintaining safety protocols and emergency response procedures Perform other duties related to the general maintenance and operation of the facilities owned by Circor.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience Proven work experience as a Master Electrician. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician. Valid license to practice profession is required.
