Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
Maintenance Electrician Put your skills to work at a successful, growing company as a Maintenance Electrician! This direct-hire role is responsible for the installation and repair of electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers Test malfunctioning machinery, and diagnose and repair/replace faulty components Work with Maintenance Machine Repairer and Maintenance Tool Maker to diagnose issues as needed Program and test automated machinery Plan layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Maintenance Electrician Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Electrical Certifications or Licensing Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Visual acuity and attention to detail Good computer skills Ability to perform an active role and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
