Job Description Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician with at least 4 years of commercial experience to join our team for a large-scale warehouse lighting installation project. The primary focus of this role is the layout, installation, and wiring of commercial lighting fixtures, conduits, and control systems. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in operating and working from a scissor lift at elevated heights.
Key Responsibilities Lighting Installation:
Install, wire, and connect high-bay LED fixtures, emergency lighting, sensors, and lighting control systems throughout the warehouse layout.
Aerial Work:
Safely operate and perform precision electrical work from a scissor lift at heights ranging from 15 to 40+ feet.
Conduit & Wiring:
Bend and run EMT conduit (1/2" to 1"+), pull wire, install junction boxes, and make clean terminations according to blueprints.
Blueprint Reading:
Read and interpret electrical schematics, redlines, and layout drawings to accurately execute the installation.
Safety Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations, especially concerning fall protection, lift operation, and PPE.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
4+ years of proven experience as a commercial electrician.
Equipment Skills:
Practical, hands-on experience operating and working on a scissor lift. (Valid scissor lift/aerial platform certification is highly preferred).
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in bending conduit, wiring lighting grids, and working with 120/277/480V systems.
Tools:
Must possess standard hand tools and cordless power tools appropriate for commercial electrical work.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to work at heights for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders as needed.
Reliability:
Dependable transportation and a strong track record of punctuality.
