Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining proper beverage service standards Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with attention to detail Upsell menu items, suggest wine pairings or specialty drinks to increase sales and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with food handling and preparation when needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally Demonstrated ability in beverage service, cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine expertise, and drink presentation Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous; familiarity with food safety standards is essential Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality!
