Full Job Description Electrical Technician Location:
Akron, Ohio Pay:
$20.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30PM Overtime:
Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM as needed We are hiring an experienced Electrical Technician for a full-time position in Akron, Ohio. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working independently and has experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment. Responsibilities Install, wire, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting Identify and correct electrical problems efficiently Work with control panels, motors, sensors, and other industrial electrical components Follow established safety procedures and electrical standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Complete work accurately and safely with minimal supervision Qualifications Previous industrial electrical experience required Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Experience troubleshooting electrical systems Knowledge of industrial equipment and electrical components Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and stay focused on assigned projects Electrical trade school or technical training is a plus COM111 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
