You'll be responsible for hands-on electrical work that directly impacts project quality, jobsite safety, and overall project success. Success in this role means developing technical skills, gaining code knowledge, and contributing positively to the jobsite while upholding KE's commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Perform electrical installation, service, and maintenance work under supervisionMaintain 2nd year (2,000-4,000 hours) registered Unlicensed Electrician statusAttend continuing education to support annual registration renewalTrack and report electrical work experience and ongoing educationLearn and apply current electrical codes and best practicesRead and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documentsGain experience bending conduit using hydraulic bending machinesUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelyWork in restricted areas and at heightsFollow Knobelsdorff's safety policies and proceduresWork in all weather conditions depending on job location and seasonTravel to regional job sites, including overnight and out-of-town projectsWork occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsWhat You BringYou're someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right.
Successful candidates typically bring:
2nd year (2,000-4,000 hours) registered Unlicensed Electrician experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and materialsAbility to positively identify wire colorsCompetency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookSelf-starter mindset with strong teamwork skillsValid driver's license with a history of safe drivingWillingness to travel extensively (up to 100%) Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkAdditional InformationPay RangeWe believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in.
Pay Range:
