Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience, including industrial and commercial projects, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites and renovation projects. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, low and high voltage systems, and adhere to NEC standards. Strong leadership and the ability to work well with all people is essential. This position offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment that values safety, precision, and technical expertise. Typical work week is Monday thru Thursday 6am to 4:30pm. 4-10's. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and renovation settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC standards. Maintain safety protocols on construction sites or renovation projects, including proper handling of high voltage equipment. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of electrical tasks. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency. Contribute to the renovation or construction of new electrical infrastructure as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference. Experience Journeyman electrician experience with a solid understanding of commercial electrical systems. Extensive experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations. Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and NEC compliance standards. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills and saws; ohmmeters; and other diagnostic equipment. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with knowledge of framing carpentry or maintenance person skills is a plus. Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces while adhering to safety regulations. Prior construction site experience preferred; candidates should be comfortable working in physically demanding environments requiring attention to detail.
