Journeyman Electrician / Service Tech Lead - Edinburg, TX $38-$42/hour, negotiable based on experience | Service Vehicle | Benefits We're hiring a licensed Journeyman Electrician for a Service Tech Lead position. Candidates preferred to live within 30 minutes of Corpus Christi . The current assignment is at a correctional facility project in Edinburg, TX , with out-of-town travel pay and per diem provided. This role is suited to an experienced electrician who can lead work in the field, troubleshoot electrical issues, and guide apprentices while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Responsibilities Lead electrical installation, service, and troubleshooting work. Read blueprints, schematics, and job specifications to plan work. Install and work with conduit, wiring, electrical equipment, and related systems. Direct and support apprentices and coordinate daily work with field leadership. Identify material and equipment needs and communicate job progress. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Requirements Active Texas Journeyman Electrician license through TDLR required. Must live within 30 minutes of Corpus Christi, TX. Strong commercial or industrial electrical experience. Ability to lead field work and troubleshoot electrical systems. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to the Edinburg assignment. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
