As a Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot, install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on our industrial corrugated equipment and machinery. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION
Perform maintenance and electrical function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular PM's. Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical problems of plant machinery. Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve world-class results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirements. Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned. Work within specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion, and minimizing waste within set dates & times. Other corrective and preventive maintenance duties to be assigned by the supervisor from time to time. Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal and/or state required environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, fire and electrical safety codes and manuals, and standard operating procedures.
STARCORR REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Detail-oriented, organized and dependable with time management skills. 3 - 5+ years' experience with Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software & network configuration, and troubleshooting. Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, working knowledge of PLC's and motors. Knowledge of computer and automated machines. Strong maintenance electrical background (manufacturing preferred) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes. Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail. Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety. Computer competence and experience with the Microsoft suite. An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker who is dedicated to the job and team. The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates. The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team. High school diploma or
