Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on various systems using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults or inefficiencies. Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely on construction sites or renovation projects, ensuring all work complies with safety procedures and regulations. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure ongoing safety, functionality, and compliance with NFPA 70 standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment effectively for precise electrical work across multiple project phases. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest safety standards. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of local electrical codes, the NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 compliance requirements, and blueprint reading. Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and repairing complex issues efficiently. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and industrial electrical components. Ability to read electrical schematics accurately and interpret technical blueprints for installation or repair tasks. Familiarity with high-voltage electrical wiring procedures and safety protocols for construction or renovation environments. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents during installation or maintenance activities. Construction site experience with a focus on safe handling of power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment in dynamic environments.
