- 2:30 PM Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support manufacturing operations at its Ogden, Utah aerospace facility.
Core Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial electrical systems supporting manufacturing equipment and facility operations.
- Diagnose electrical failures involving: 120V / 240V / 480V systems, Three-phase power, Motor controls, VFDs, Control panels, Electrical distribution systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Install, repair, and maintain motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and electrical components.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated manufacturing systems (Allen-Bradley experience preferred).
- Perform electrical upgrades, equipment installations, and facility improvement projects.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within the maintenance management system.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Follow all
OSHA, NEC, NFPA
70E, Lockout/Tagout, and company safety requirements. QualificationsRequired:
- Utah Journeyman Electrician License preferred (Candidates actively working toward Journeyman status will also be considered.)
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Strong understanding of: National Electrical Code (NEC), Electrical troubleshooting, Industrial wiring, Motor controls & Three-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Electrical Apprenticeship or certificate of training to demonstrate qualifications is required.
- Utah Journeyman Electrician License is highly preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Experience:
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley or Siemens).
- Experience with CMMS systems.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Pneumatic systems.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
- Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs.
