Job Description
Electrical Service Sales - Commercial (Madison Area) This role is with a well-established commercial electrical and mechanical contractor in the Madison area that has a large, active service customer base and consistent inbound demand. The focus is commercial electrical service and service-driven projects . Most work comes from existing customers who already trust the contractor — you're helping identify needs, scope work correctly, and keep projects moving. Types of electrical work you'd be selling
- Lighting upgrades and retrofits (interior and exterior)
- Power distribution upgrades and additions
- Panels, breakers, feeders, and circuit work
- Service calls that turn into repair or upgrade projects
- Tenant improvements and small remodels
- Equipment power for HVAC, mechanical, and building systems
- Code-related fixes and safety upgrades
- Ongoing service work for commercial facilities What the role actually looks like
- Managing and growing an existing book of commercial service customers
- Walking job sites with electricians to understand scope
- Building clear, accurate proposals for service and small projects
- Working closely with service managers and field teams
- Staying involved through execution so projects go smoothly Who this fits

- Comfortable talking electrical systems, not just pricing
