Flooring Sales Consultant

Do you have flooring experience and enjoy helping customers create beautiful, functional spaces? We are looking for a Sales & Project Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who understands flooring, communicates well with customers, and can keep projects organized from start to finish. You will work primarily from our showroom while also visiting jobsites as needed to help manage projects, support installations, and ensure a high-quality customer experience. In this role, you will work with both residential and commercial customers , helping them select the right products, preparing estimates, coordinating installation details, and keeping projects on track through completion. What You'll Do Help customers choose flooring products that fit their space, style, needs, and budget Provide knowledgeable guidance on product options, design considerations, durability, and performance Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and job details Manage projects from the initial sale through installation and final completion Coordinate installation schedules and help keep projects moving on time Communicate clearly with customers, installers, vendors, and internal team members Visit jobsites as needed to review progress, address issues, and support successful project execution Track materials, timelines, and job details to help prevent delays and mistakes Resolve project concerns in a professional, proactive, and customer-focused manner Maintain organized records including estimates, orders, schedules, and installation notes Help maintain a clean, organized, and up-to-date showroom environment What We're Looking For Flooring industry experience is required Experience in flooring sales, project management, estimating, installation coordination, or a related role is preferred Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in quoting, ordering, and project follow-through Comfortable using computers and software such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, CRM systems, and project management tools Positive attitude, professional presence, and team-oriented mindset High school diploma or GED required College degree is a plus Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to jobsites as needed Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when needed Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan with company contribution Bonus potential Training and development opportunities Advancement opportunities within a growing company Supportive team environment where your work has a direct impact Why Join Us?
