Position Summary We're not looking for someone to "price jobs" and pass them along. We're looking for someone who owns the full lifecycle — from takeoff to closeout. This role sits at the center of our operation. You'll estimate work, win it, and drive execution. When things get complicated (and they will), you bring clarity, control, and results. What You'll Be Responsible For Owning projects from bid to completion — numbers, execution, and outcome Preparing accurate, competitive estimates for underground utilities (water, sewer, storm, etc.) Reading plans, specs, and site conditions like a professional — not guessing Managing job costs, budgets, and production in real time Coordinating crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and schedules Communicating clearly with owners, inspectors, engineers, and internal teams Identifying risks early — and solving them before they cost time or money Tracking change orders, quantities, and production without letting details slip Holding the line on quality, safety, and performance Driving jobs forward — not waiting to be told what to do What It Takes to Succeed Here High accountability — you own the number and the result Speed + accuracy — fast is good, right is required Attention to detail — missed scope = lost money Field awareness — you understand how work actually gets built Problem solver — you fix issues instead of explaining them Thick skin — fast-paced work, real pressure, real expectations Clear communicator — no confusion, no guessing Ownership mindset — you treat every job like it's yours Servant leadership — you make crews and teams better Benefits
