Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Agtek Takeoff / Estimator to join our heavy civil construction estimating team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate material takeoffs, estimating project costs, and supporting project management with precise quantity calculations. Your expertise will help ensure project bids are competitive and budgets are maintained, contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to accurately determine material quantities needed for construction projects Utilize Agtek and Bluebeam software to perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimations efficiently Collaborate with estimators, and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials Assist Estimator in developing comprehensive construction estimates that include labor, equipment and materials, Prepare detailed reports on quantities, costs, and pricing strategies to facilitate bid submissions and project planning Maintain organized records of all takeoff data, and estimation documents for future reference Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. Requirements Proven experience with construction estimating and takeoff processes within heavy civil / Underground Utilities or infrastructure projects (2 Years Min) Proficiency in Agtek/Planswift or Similiar for digital plan review and markup Familiarity with B2W/HCSS or similar estimating software is highly desirable Strong understanding of construction site operations, and project management principles Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents Prior experience in Heavy civil construction is preferred - Join our team to be part of a forward-thinking organization committed to delivering exceptional infrastructure solutions.
