Performance Objectives Champion the full estimating cycle for projects from conceptual estimates to final bid submissions, ensuring precise and competitive pricing strategies. Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs and cost assessments, creating accurate bid summaries that support our project goals. Lead coordination efforts among subcontractors and suppliers, managing bid day logistics and maintaining strong professional relationships. Develop detailed budgets for negotiated works and design-build projects, utilizing innovative solutions to enhance value. Drive post-bid analyses, ensuring seamless project handovers to operations with actionable insights and knowledge sharing. Continuously update and refine the estimating database, implementing data-driven improvements for future projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align estimating strategies with project execution and client expectations. Environment & Resources Report directly to the Pre-Construction Manager, and work alongside a team of talented professionals in a collaborative environment. You'll have access to cutting-edge estimating tools such as On-Screen Takeoff and ICE, with the support needed to excel in your role. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field. At least 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience with a proven track record of success. Expertise in unit costs, market trends, and cost drivers backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard estimating software. Exceptional ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
