Full Job Description Electrical Estimator Location:
Charlotte, NC Job Description:
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role involves reviewing project specifications, plans, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and required materials, labor, and equipment. The Electrical Estimator will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and reflect the project's requirements. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to review and evaluate subcontractors' and vendors' bids, proposals, and Bills of Materials. Knowledgeable with construction documents, including the ability to read drawings and specifications. Basic understanding of the construction process. Knowledge of MS Office Programs and general computer knowledge. Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Education and Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, Business Management, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Five (5) years of operational experience in estimating, with at least two (2) years of electrical trade experience.
