About the Role Kyosis Parking Technologies is seeking an expert Estimator/Project Manager to support the sale, design, and delivery of parking access and revenue control systems (PARCS), vehicular gate and garage door equipment, and related access control infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role that bridges sales, estimating, and project execution — you'll be the person who can walk a set of architectural drawings, identify every piece of parking equipment (and flag what's missing), and turn that into an accurate bid and a buildable installation plan. Key Respobsilities Read and interpret architectural, electrical, and low-voltage drawings to identify parking equipment locations, gate/barrier placement, garage door equipment, and associated conduit/wire runs Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for parking access control systems, PARCS equipment, vehicular gates, and garage doors Review drawings for missing or incorrectly specified parking equipment and recommend corrections or additions before bid submission Understand how parking equipment components (loop detectors, gate operators, ticket dispensers, pay stations, credential readers, barrier arms, garage door operators, and controllers) are wired and integrated together as a system Develop wiring/conduit run diagrams and coordinate low-voltage and power requirements with electrical contractors Support the full sales cycle: respond to RFPs/RFQs, attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings, and build relationships with general contractors, developers, and property owners Manage awarded projects from handoff through installation and closeout, coordinating with field technicians, subcontractors, and manufacturers Track project budgets, schedules, and change orders to ensure profitable, on-time delivery Maintain working knowledge of leading PARCS platforms (e.g., Arrive, FLASH Parking, Scheidt & Bachmann, HUB Parking, Tiba, WPS, T2, Amano Mcgann, etc) Maintain working knowledge of leading parking equipment hardware, wiring, and manufacturers (e.g., for barrier gates, crash/wedge barriers, LPR cameras, RFID card readers, AVI readers, etc) Maintain working knowledge of leading security and access control platforms (e.g., Motorola Avigilon, Genetec, Aiphone, etc) Maintain working knowledge of leading garage door systems (e.g., Amarr, Clopay, Rytec, Liftmaster, Linear, etc) Qualifications Experience with creating detailed quotes on parking access control systems, gate/barrier operators, and/or garage door systems along with their respective materials for a working system Ability to read and take off architectural, electrical, or low-voltage drawings Understanding of low-voltage wiring principles, conduit runs, and system integration Estimating experience in construction, security systems, low-voltage, or related trades Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel; experience with estimating or takeoff software a plus Strong communication skills for working with GCs, developers, and vendors Valid driver's license; ability to visit job sites as needed
