Job Description

Job Overview:
•We are seeking a skilled Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating new construction projects, managing bid submissions, and supporting project execution from award through delivery.
Duties:
Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for construction projects including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor scopes. Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop competitive proposals. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring scope coverage and accuracy. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources from pre-construction through closeout. Track project costs and identify variances, recommending corrective action as needed. Coordinate with field crews, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure work meets quality and schedule standards. Maintain and organize estimate files, bid histories, and project documentation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction methods and costs. Proficiency in estimating and project management software such as BuilderTrend, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar tools. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control practices. Experience managing subcontractor relationships and ensuring compliance with scope and contract terms. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills. This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
