Coop Construction & Roofing is looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing roofing division. We are looking for someone who can do more than simply prepare takeoffs. This position will help manage commercial roofing projects from the initial estimate through material ordering, crew scheduling and project execution. Responsibilities Prepare detailed commercial roofing estimates using Xactimate Perform complete roof takeoffs from plans, specifications and field measurements Estimate materials, labor, equipment and rental costs Prepare project budgets and scopes of work Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor pricing Order roofing materials and coordinate jobsite deliveries Schedule and coordinate roofing crews Schedule lifts, telehandlers, cranes, dumpsters and other rental equipment Develop project schedules and coordinate mobilization Track estimated costs versus actual job costs Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers and customers Assist with commercial insurance claims and adjuster documentation when applicable Help ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget Experience We Are Looking For Commercial roofing estimating and/or project management experience Strong Xactimate experience Experience with commercial low-slope roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM and modified bitumen Ability to read construction drawings, roofing plans and specifications Experience preparing material and labor takeoffs Understanding of commercial roofing production rates and crew requirements Experience ordering commercial roofing materials and coordinating deliveries Experience scheduling subcontractor crews and rental equipment Strong organizational and communication skills Existing relationships with commercial roofing crews, suppliers and subcontractors in Oklahoma or Texas are a major plus Experience with Bluebeam, EDGE, PlanSwift or similar estimating/takeoff software is also beneficial.
