The selected candidate will be responsible for actively supporting the team on associated bidding activities, providing quantity take-offs, alternative pricing options, and value engineering. This role is also responsible for creating, cultivating, and maintaining positive relationships with customers, key vendors, and co-workers.
Qualified candidates will have:
  • GED/Diploma with a minimum 3+ years of sheet metal experience or minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred, but not required. A Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field such as Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent applicable degree.
  • Ability to estimate conceptually outside of using software, greater understanding of plans/specs, client ROM budgets and evaluation of cost savings, and knowledge of different types of systems.
  • Attention to detail with proven history of accuracy.
  • Excellent diagnostic, analytical, problem-solving & decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal, written communications, and seeks to understand.
  • Manages time effectively for achieving desired results.
  • Motivated by positive relationships and sense of team.
