Host job duties and responsibilities:

Greets, engages and seats all guests in a warm and friendly manner, making a great first impression. Assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant. As Guests are departing, inquire about their experience, thank them for dining with us, and invite them back. To perform side duties including, but not limited to: answering the phones, making reservations, ordering takeout for guests over phone, bussing tables and running food. Maintains positive attitude and regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Further Responsibilities Maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout shift. Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework. Works with a sense of urgency. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure environment at all times. Qualification Standards Aptitude for multi-tasking Communication and organizational skills Positive Attitude Great team player Candidates must feel comfortable talking to guests over the phone and in person.
