Bryn Mawr, PA Full-Time Commercial & Residential Construction Salary:

$75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience Gardner/Fox Associates is seeking experienced Commercial & Residential Cost Estimators to join our construction team. The Cost Estimators will be responsible for day-to-day bidding / estimating of commercial & residential construction projects throughout the Philadelphia and surrounding suburban markets Gardner/Fox is a full-service design/build construction firm founded in 1987 and based in Bryn Mawr. Our award-winning firm operates both a residential and commercial division. Responsibilities The individual or individuals would be involved in soliciting subcontractors and vendors for project bids, conducting subcontractor walkthroughs, and de-scoping subcontractor and vendor proposals. Additionally, the individual would work on plan take-offs utilizing Bluebeam and BIM software and import take-off information into Excel spreadsheets. Qualifications 5+ years prior experience. Educational background with work experience in construction. Sectors of experience would include at least one or more of the following: residential, medical, retail, office, restaurant, hotel, religious, and/or out-of-the-ground construction. Good communication, organizational and computer skills are required. Thoroughness and attention to detail are also a must. Must be proficient at using Microsoft Excel and Word and able to generate a concise, well worded proposal. Must have a valid driver's license.
