Support proposal development, design revisions, value-engineering opportunities, Best and Final Offer ( BAFO ) activities, and estimate revisions throughout the sales process.
Evaluate changes between estimate revisions and clearly communicate impacts to quantities, scope, cost, materials, and project requirements.
Maintain organized, traceable estimating files and supporting documentation that allow estimates to be independently reviewed.
Participate in project award and handoff activities, confirming that final estimates, quantities, assumptions, pricing, and scope align with the awarded project and customer purchase order.
Support estimating needs related to project changes, additional material requests, spare parts, and change orders.
Help improve estimating templates, tools, checklists, standards, and review processes by incorporating lessons learned from awarded and completed projects.
