Qualifications and Experience:
Current state licensure as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) Strong background in pediatric occupational therapy Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Enthusiasm for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families in support of student success
Key Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy interventions in alignment with students IEP goals Provide direct, hands-on support to help students develop functional skills for the classroom Collaborate in planning and modifying treatment activities to meet individual needs Collect and document student progress and contribute to team meetings Partner with lead occupational therapists and school staff to ensure cohesive and effective approaches
