Annual Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Earthwork Estimator to prepare accurate estimates and bids for earthwork, excavation, grading, site development, and demolition projects. Responsibilities Prepare earthwork quantity takeoffs using AGTEK. Review geotechnical reports, site plans, grading plans, and civil drawings. Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid proposals. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors for pricing. Attend pre-bid meetings and project site visits. Identify project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities. Track leads and client communications using CRM software. Communicate project scope and estimates to field operations. Build relationships with contractors and clients to increase bid opportunities. Work with management to improve pricing and bid competitiveness. Requirements 2+ years of construction estimating experience. Experience estimating earthwork, excavation, grading, or civil/site development projects. AGTEK experience is required. Strong ability to read site plans, grading plans, specifications, and civil drawings. Knowledge of geotechnical reports and their impact on projects. Experience with CRM software. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Experience with construction/project management software.
