Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated multi-tasking individual(s) to fill a Project Manager/Estimator position(s). Applicant should have minimum 2+ years of experience estimating drywall and/or metal studs, a strong work ethic and great people skills. The position serves primarily Commercial projects. This position requires a strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. The Project Manager/Estimator will evaluate project opportunities, draft estimates, and communicate with both the client and the project team to stay updated on project costs. Project Manager/Estimator must be able to read architectural, structural drawings and details and be able to meet bid deadlines. Candidate should be familiar with the submittal process, creation of change orders, RFIs, material inventories, purchase orders, and production controls. Must be able to work within a professional teamwork environment, meet stringent deadlines, create, and interpret project schedules, have understanding of the OSHA safety regulations and conduct meetings with clients. Candidate must also have a thorough understanding of light and heavy gauge metal stud framing, gypsum wallboard assemblies, building insulation, acoustical wall, and ceiling systems. Must be able to read architectural, details and be familiar with structural and mechanical blueprints. Experience using estimating software such as OST/Quick Bid is important (Edge Software is also accepted experience). Other office software, such as, MS Word and Excel is also required.
