ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Gathers details and compiles data to estimate all production costs according to specifications Reviews blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to formulate cost estimates Considers raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation for estimates Helps determine necessary resources for projects based on cost estimates and budgetary constraints Reviews estimates as requested and analyzes established standards for cost reductions Performs other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & ATTRIBUTES
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry Knowledge of production management, logistics, and supply chain concepts and methodologies Excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area helpful but not required
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is mostly conducted indoors in an office or remote environment Minimal exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, dusty conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, hazardous machinery, heights, confined spaces, precarious places, proximity to other employees. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk; must be able to view computer screen for prolonged periods of time; must be able to enter data using keyboard accurately and efficiently Must be able to communicate effectively via phone or email with personnel at remote job sites Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 15 pounds infrequently Lifting includes from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, waist to overhead May be required to climb stairs or ladders
