• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• What You'll Do
• As a Controls Estimator, you'll be responsible for developing accurate and timely cost estimates for projects ranging from small upgrades to large-scale installations.

Reporting to the Estimating Supervisor or VP of Preconstruction, your role will include: + Preparing detailed proposals and cost estimates + Reviewing construction documents and identifying scope + Performing takeoffs using specialized software + Soliciting pricing from vendors and subcontractors + Attending pre-bid meetings and site inspections + Supporting change order pricing and project turnover + Maintaining estimating systems and BIM/design setups + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Experience + Proven experience in controls estimating + Ability to interpret technical specs, plans, and contracts + Broad understanding of controls construction Skills +

Tech-savvy:

Estimating software, Microsoft Office, FTP (training available) + Strong communicator: Clear, professional verbal and written skills +

Trustworthy:

Handles confidential information with integrity +

Organized:

Prioritizes tasks and maintains attention to detail Physical & Work Environment + Primarily office-based with occasional job site visits + Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally + Job sites may include exposure to noise, particles, and mechanical equipment
