Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Flooring Installer with a strong background in both hard-surface and soft-surface flooring. The ideal candidate must have 3 to 5 years of professional experience specifically installing Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP), Laminate, and Carpet (stretching, seaming, and padding). You will be responsible for managing job sites efficiently, ensuring flawless layouts, and leaving a clean, professional finish that meets our company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities Preparation:

Assess, measure, and prepare subfloors (tack strip installation, leveling, patching, removing old flooring, and ensuring surfaces are clean/dry).

Hard-Surface Installation:

Measure, cut, layout, and install click-lock and glue-down LVP and laminate flooring.

Carpet Installation:

Layout, cut, seam, and power-stretch carpet over padding; efficiently handle stair installations and clean transitions.

Finishing:

Install baseboards, transition strips, quarter-rounds, and trim to ensure a clean finish.

Quality Control:

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Mid America Flooring Solutions' standards and manufacturer specifications.

Site Cleanliness:

Maintain a safe, clean work environment; properly dispose of waste, scrap material, and debris daily.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

3-5 years of professional installation experience in LVP, laminate, and carpet required.

Technical Skill:

Proficient with industry tools (carpet stretchers, seaming irons, knee kickers, table saws, miter saws, tapping blocks, etc.).

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Detail-Oriented:

Strong mathematical skills for accurate measuring, pattern matching (for carpet), and minimizing material waste.
