We are looking for a reliable Tile Helper / Construction Laborer to assist with residential and commercial tile installation projects throughout NYC and Long Island .

Pay:

$160-$200 cash per day, depending on experience

Project-based Experience:

Tile or construction experience preferred Responsibilities Assist tile installer with daily work Mix thinset, grout, and other materials Carry and organize tile and materials Make basic tile cuts when needed Help with demolition and job-site preparation Prepare and clean surfaces before installation Keep work areas clean and organized Assist with grouting, waterproofing, and finishing Load/unload tools and materials Requirements Reliable and shows up on time Able to lift and carry tile and construction materials Comfortable working on active construction sites Tile experience is a plus Experience using a wet saw/grinder is a big plus Must be willing to learn and follow instructions Transportation is preferred Transportation If you live near Franklin Square, transportation to and from job sites can be provided. The main tile mason lives in Franklin Square and can provide a ride to and from job locations. Pay is based on experience. Someone with little experience who is willing to work and learn can start around $160/day , while an experienced tile helper can earn up to $200/day .
