Experienced Painting & Epoxy Flooring Technician LACOSTA Facility Support Services is hiring an experienced Epoxy Flooring & Industrial Painting Journeyman in San Antonio, TX. This is a hands-on position focused primarily on commercial and industrial painting , with additional work involving epoxy and urethane floor coating systems . We are looking for someone with strong surface preparation and painting experience who is comfortable working in industrial environments and traveling to job sites as needed. Pay & Schedule $26.00-$30.00 per hour , based on experience Paid weekly every Friday $45 per diem when traveling Monday-Friday 1st

Shift:

6:00 AM-2:30 PM Overtime opportunities available Travel between job sites may be required What You'll Do Perform commercial and industrial painting projects Paint walls, floors, doors, rails, equipment areas, and other industrial surfaces Prepare surfaces through scraping, sanding, grinding, priming, and sealing Apply epoxy and urethane floor coating systems Operate floor grinders and other surface-preparation equipment Repair surfaces using caulk, putty, fillers, and similar materials Mask and protect surrounding areas before painting or coating Safely operate ladders, lifts, and access equipment Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Follow all plant, job-site, PPE, and safety requirements Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete projects safely and efficiently What We're Looking For Painting and surface preparation experience required Commercial or industrial painting experience strongly preferred Epoxy or urethane floor coating experience preferred Experience operating floor grinders or walk behind and manual equipment preferred OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred; training may be available Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and job-site requirements Willingness to travel to job sites as needed Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs Physical & Work Environment This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and other physical activity. Work may take place around machinery, construction activity, chemicals, moderate noise, and occasionally outdoors. Required PPE may include steel-toe footwear, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and other job-specific protective equipment.
