About Us We are a family owned and operated custom wood works company serving San Antonio and the surrounding area since 1996. Nearly thirty years of steady work, real craftsmanship, and a crew that takes pride in what we build and install. We are adding a dependable person to our field crew and we are willing to train the right one from the ground up. What You Will Do Load the van at the shop each morning and unload at the job site Set up the work area, protect the customer's home or space, and break down at the end of the day Assist with installation of custom cabinetry, millwork, and trim Sand, refinish, and complete touch up work on existing woodwork Handle repairs and service calls Keep the job site clean and the tools accounted for Represent the company professionally in customers' homes and businesses Other duties that come with a typical install day What We Are Looking For No woodworking experience required. We will train you. Shows up on time, every day. This matters more to us than anything on a resume. Able to take direction once and then work without constant supervision Comfortable lifting and carrying heavy materials throughout the day Careful hands. We work in finished homes with expensive materials. Respectful and presentable in front of customers Valid driver license required Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Pay and Schedule Full time Starting pay is $15 an hour $20 an hour and up based on how quickly you can work on your own. We move people up on ability, not on time served. Typical hours are 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Hours vary based on the job and the workload. Overtime available as needed Travel time is paid on out of town jobs Location and Transportation Our shop is located in San Antonio near IH 10 and Vance Jackson. You must have reliable transportation to get yourself to the shop each morning. From there you can ride along in the company van or drive your own vehicle to the job site. We work throughout San Antonio and surrounding cities. Fuel for your personal vehicle is not reimbursed.
